A dozen quilting friends, together for a weekend at a snowy lake retreat. What could go wrong???
If you are picturing a group of sweet little grannies giggling their way through hand stitches with a bit of cabernet, think again! There is a MURDER in the lodge! Pieceful Lake isn’t so peaceful after all!
Meet the members of the Twisted Threadz Quilt Guild—Lotta Aggression, Ohso Wright, Bitsy Pieces, Gettie Dunn & the others—and wonder WHO could have done in one of their own! As you get to know each of them, their stories and their characters, you’ll learn some of the wacky nuances of quilting show politics.
The drama buildings as these gals reveal their secrets, private vulnerabilities and potential motives for a sinister crime. Is it revenge, jealousy, blackmail, love or lust that drives one of the quilters to murder? The story keeps you in suspense, and a real quilt gets assembled in the process.
So come join the ladies of the Twisted Threadz on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 11am for an afternoon of dining & mayhem – it’s a stitch!
Cost is $25.00 per person which includes a four course lunch. Tickets are limited to the first 90 people and will go on sale starting December 1st at the Visual Arts Center, in person or by calling 941-639-8810.
Murder at Pieceful Lake will keep you guessing right until the end!
